DESCRIPTION:
EPW - Swiss world time watch, 51mm, .935 silver OF original case with silver cuvette, applied silver monogram, SW-pin-set, WED with six subsidiary time dials for various cities plus subsidiary seconds, lever escapement, 15J, gilt mvt, s#23639 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 67.9 dwt (105.6 g). Swiss patent +4975 on the dial is apparently in error.
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, near mint mvt condition overall; dial looks perfect but has been clear-coated to conceal restoration at the edge; hands excellent, various styles; case shows light wear, some MFS, no dents or dings but compression to the monogram area, clear detail; bow loose, crown shows very light wear; good glass crystal.
